JA High School Heroes Scholarships ($1,000) Deadline Wednesday, April 15, 2026 – Multiple Scholarships Awarded 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a high school senior who participated in a High School Heroes event at any point in high school in which you trained and facilitated a Junior Achievement program in a local elementary school classroom serving as the volunteer
  • Applicants need to submit an essay detailing their experience

Scholarship Recipients will be notified by Tuesday, May 6 AND must be available Thursday, May 15 for the award announcement at the Junior Achievement Board of Directors' Meeting to be held at the Union League Club at 65 W. Jackson Blvd., Chicago from 11:00-1:00 pm.

The volunteer or teacher rating scale is completed by the teacher who implemented the JA program. This teacher verifies that the high school student participated in the JA programs. Rating Scale form for JA Volunteer or Teacher
